“Westward Resolution”

“Westward Resolution” is the third chapter in Project Redeemer. Its lyrical content is a story of suffering and despair due to the environmental collapse all over the world.

Until now, life was about the economy and what we as individuals can gain from it. Material possessions meant more to us than our own welfare. This has all changed. Oil in all of our oceans, constant earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and since the Ozone has begun to show signs of degradation, the floods, hurricanes and firestorms have become common place everywhere.

It has been said, our will to live as a human race is unparalleled. To fight against any adversary simply to survive was not uncommon. But when the planet itself decides our time of existence is over, we run out of choices as we run out of time.

“It’s come now
accept it,
we are now nothing but a plague,
Our lives have meant nothing
but embers rising from the dead,
a waste land of possessions
the firestorms will never cease,
don’t give weigh, to dismay
welcome to mankind’s release ” (Empty Resolutions)
